Your best plays, cut from footage you already have

Trim, caption and go vertical on any game you play — free, on your own PC. In Valorant, GLworm finds the aces and headshots for you.

Windows only
How it works

GLworm doesn't record. It reads.

No capture, no hotkey, no second thing running while you play. GLworm opens the files your recorder already wrote.

01Step

You already have the footage

Whatever writes an MP4 is enough. GLworm never touches your game, your mic or your GPU while you're in a match.

Point it at the folder

Pick the one folder your recordings land in, or drag a single file onto the dashboard. GLworm reads it when you open the app and whenever you ask.

The clips are waiting

Aces, headshots, kills, knives, deaths and rounds — already cut, each on its own, matched against your in-game name so it's your plays and not the lobby's.

Detection

Valorant detection reads the kill feed. You get the clips.

Six kinds of moment, cut out of the recording while you're still in the lobby — you pick which ones get cut, and they all come out of one run.

The ace banner is caught as the round ends, and the whole play is saved with padding around it.

The studio

Everything after the clip works on any game

Finding the moments for you is the part Valorant has to itself. The rest of GLworm never asks what you play — or for a card.

Every clip in one place

Your cuts, the montages you built and everything you archived, in four views you can search and filter by game or by moment. Trim one down again later without starting over.

Merge into a montage

Stage the clips you want, drag them into the order you want them, and watch the whole reel play through before you commit to it. One file comes out the other end.

Text, stickers and GIFs

Place as many as you like, each timed to the moment it should appear. Change the colour, the font or how solid it sits, and it burns into the file you export.

Sound on a real timeline

The clip’s own audio is a lane you can quieten in parts. Lay your own sounds beside it, trim and loop and fade them, and duck the game underneath while they play.

Free forever · Any game · Nothing you export is watermarked

Built for vertical

Landscape in. Vertical out.

Any clip or montage becomes 9:16 in one step — crop to fill the frame, or keep the whole play over a blurred background. Add your text and stickers first and they burn straight into the file.

Your footage stays on your PC

GLworm is not a cloud clipper. There is no upload step, no processing queue and no library on somebody else's server.

01

Nothing is uploaded

Detection, trimming, merging and export all run on your PC. Your video never leaves the machine.

02

Works offline

Sign in once. After that a network is optional — GLworm only goes online for your account and your plan.

03

Your file is never modified

Every operation writes a new file. The recording you dropped in is exactly the recording you keep.

04

Your clips are yours

They sit in a folder you chose, on your drive. There is no cloud library to lose access to.

That 49× is measured, not guessed: the same check takes 59 milliseconds on a DirectX 12 graphics card, and 2.9 seconds without one.

Cutting, merging and editing your clips costs nothing and always will, and nothing you export is watermarked. A plan adds the five things that do the work for you. Every new account gets the full app for 7 days from the moment you sign in, no card needed.

FAQ

Before you download

The seven things people ask first.

01

Does GLworm record my gameplay?

No. It is a clip maker, not a recorder. GLworm works on recordings you already have — Xbox Game Bar, OBS, ShadowPlay, anything that writes an MP4. Point it at that folder and your matches show up.

02

What does it detect?

In Valorant: aces, headshots, kills, knife kills, your deaths, and every round boundary. You type your in-game name once, so the kill feed is read against you and not the whole lobby. You choose which of the six get cut into clips automatically.

03

Which games does it work with?

Detection is Valorant today. Any other game can be added for tagging and filtering, and everything else — trimming, organising, merging, the editor, 9:16 reels — works on any footage.

04

Is my footage uploaded anywhere?

Never. Analysis, editing and every export run on your own PC, and your source file is never modified. GLworm only goes online to sign you in and check your plan.

05

What do I actually pay for?

Five things: finding your moments automatically, the Workshop where you bring in and make sounds and stickers, clearing space in bulk from the Storage screen, putting several clips in one frame side by side, and building a vertical reel by hand. Everything else — trimming by hand, your clip library, merging, the editor, the audio timeline, the ready-made 9:16 formats — is free forever, and nothing you export is ever watermarked.

06

Is there a free trial?

Every new account gets the full app for 7 days from the moment you sign in — nothing held back, and we never ask for a card. Run detection on your own recordings before you decide. When it ends nothing disappears: every clip and sound you already made stays yours and stays usable.

07

What do I need to run it?

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and DirectX 11. A DirectX 12 GPU is worth having — detection runs about 49× faster on one than on the CPU.
